Our language program
French lessons and Spanish exposure
All children can enjoy French lessons with an experienced teacher from ‘La French Academy’ twice a week.
The Global Explorers’ pedagogical approach focuses on celebrating cultural diversity and each child’s uniqueness. Many children in the centre speak a language other than English at home and they are invited to share their culture with their peers.
Our language program
Being exposed to a second language contributes to brain development and enhances tolerance, empathy and understanding of diversity. It also develops essential cognitive skills such as listening, memory and reasoning.
Global Explorers provides a multicultural and inclusive environment where English is the common language for all children. By providing an inclusive education to children living on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, we offer a powerful approach that values every child’s unique abilities and background and a place where every child’s strengths and background are celebrated.
In our centre, bilingual children feel respected and valued; they are happy to confidently share their culture with others. In our inclusive environment, children learn from each other, learn acceptance, understand differences, and recognise each other’s strengths.
